“Don’t give up. Don’t ever give up” – Jimmy Valvano
That is exactly what Brock Stassi did. He was drafted 1,021st overall in the 2011 draft and slowly worked his way up through the minors for 6 years. During that time, he fought and clawed his way to the top. Thursday, Stassi was told that he made the roster of the Philadelphia Phillies. His dream had come true. This made for an emotional and amazing interview.
A phenomenal story for a well deserved individual.
