Earlier I wrote about how Addison Russell is trying to get MLB players to sign his collection of Pokemon cards. He talked with ESPN and told them that he doesn’t just have any player sign any card, he tries to have some connection between the card and the player. Addison, since you are reading this, here are some ideas for which players should sign which Pokemon cards.
Bartolo Colon – Snorlax
Easy choice.
Dansby Swanson – Pidgey
Randal Grichuk – Pidgeotto
Swanson has the potential to be a Pidgeot but right now he is still young and trying to evolve his game. Grichuk looks settled on Pidgeotto without much potential to evolve further. Btw these guys look like brothers.
Clayton Kershaw – Alakazam
Now you see the ball, now you don’t.
2011 Eric Thames – Machop
2017 Eric Thames – Machamp

Aroldis Chapman – Charizard
Absolute Fire.
